Dr. Anastasia Cleary

Dr. Cleary is a board-certified family physician who has been providing medical care to patients in the Tappahannock area since 2007. She obtained her Bachelors of Science Degree from Youngstown State University in 2000. She then graduated with her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Ohio in 2004. Dr. Cleary went on to complete her family medicine residency at VCU Riverside family practice in 2007. Since then she has dedicated much of her time and energy to providing quality patient-centered care in the northern neck region.

Through the years Dr. Cleary found that Western medicine can successfully treat many acute and chronic conditions. As she gained more experience she found that sometimes patients had a constellation of symptoms that could not always be explained or treated with the typical Western medicine approach. She then took an interest in  alternative treatment approaches and became certified in medical acupuncture in August 2021.
